Hosting and Co-location

Price list May 5, 2005, in Espoo/Helsinki area, Finland. Currently we have two Co-location rooms in Espoo, located in same building with FICIX, the Finnish Internet Exchange node 1, close proximity to Nokia headquarters, Helsinki University of Technology, FUNET (Finnish University Network), all just couple of router hops away.

By default, service includes 100 Mbps network connection to local Internet Exchange. International capacity is included, but with assumption that the service is directed to the local Internet area. If your requirements include large International bandwidth, please ask.

Racks are available in either 800 or 900 mm deep. If you have special depth requirement, please notify when ordering.

All full and fractional rack services include 24 hour access to the co-location center using your own access card and/or keys. For rack space units, access is charged by 120 euro/hour during business hours, minimum 1 hour, and 240 euro/hour outside business hours, minumum 2 hours.

We think it is in both our own and customer's interest to allow and encourage selecting your capacity provider freely - we also offer just plain rack space. Our sites are located in close proximity or are well-connected to local internet exchanges and multiple operator's facities to provide maximum flexibility.

Server products

Miniserver is low-power miniserver. These are not as fast as full servers, but perfect for non-intensive WWW sites, smaller download servers, name servers and similar. See manufacturer's WWW site for details.

Server is a 1 unit server from HP, with selection criteria based on high reliability and good performance. Swapable disks for quick recovery. RAID available, ask for pricing.

Managed operating system service is available for FreeBSD, NetBSD and Linux. The service includes operating system upgrades and backups (up to 100 GB, add 100 Euro/100GB/month for more).

Backup service is available on operating systems with Amanda backup system. At least FreeBSD, NetBSD and Linux are known to be supported, and likely other Unix type systems as well.

All server products include failover service with at least one server kept unused as a spare for emergency replacement. The server may not be identical, but comparable in performance and interfaces.
